Custom Shop Designed Sonic blue Strat made in the early years of the Classic Player series - when Fender were still trying to impress with them - read some of the early reviews online. Comes with Fender Deluxe Gig Bag. Much better quality than the later ones - more rounded fingerboard edges, more rounded fret edges - no horrible sharp edges and really beautiful subtle curves - especially on the headstock. This is easily up there with an American Strat. Excellent condition with no dings and only a few light plying scratches here and there. This beauty has the following upgrades, which massively improve the sound: * 57/62 American Vintage Fender pickups with hum cancelling, reverse wound middle pickup. Taken from a 2007 Classic Player 50s Strat (again, when the pickups were good!) They sound incredible - much thicker and meatier than the thinner sounding 60s pickups that were in it originally. * Upgraded Steel trem block - for better resonance /clarity - genuine Fender. * Aluminium metal shielding under pickguard - again a genuine Fender 62 Strat one. This further quietens the hum and also thickens up and improves the sound substantially. This strat really does sound amazing - has to be heard to be believed!
